About Our Family

We are the Kvalvik Family. Allen and I have been married for 20 years as of October 4, 2006 and we have three boys; Devin (14), Michael (14) and Austin (9). We are in the process of adopting a little girl from China and have been waiting for her for about 2 years now. We are anxiously awaiting our referral (when they match us with a child and we get a picture of her) which could be arriving any day now. Our documents were logged into the CCAA (China Center for Adoption Affairs) on August 30th, 2005, but we started the paperwork process in November 2004. The wait has been agonizing at times as we thought when we started the process that it would only be a year from start to finish. By the time we get our precious Gracie, she will be somewhere between 6 to 12 months old.
