God really convicted me last week that I was putting too much hope in the doctors and that my hope needed to be in Him. After I realized what I was doing, my prayers for Gracie completely changed. I began recognizing that God is the only One who can heal Gracie and He wants to be glorified by her healing. So we began praying that God would reveal to us if He wanted to heal Gracie. Through prayer, e-mails from friends and people we don't even know who are praying for her, we began to feel like that was the direction we needed to be going. Praying for healing. So we committed to praying for Gracie every night after she falls asleep and really praying against evil. We invited a couple of our relatives to pray via conference call too. Cheryl, who lives in American Samoa and Penny who lives in Medford prayed for Gracie over the phone. We put the phone on speaker so Gracie could hear every word and she absolutely soaked it up! She loves being prayed for. It's very sweet.
Mike, our pastor has been taking the church through a series on gifts of the spirit. On Sunday he was teaching on the gift of healing and after the service we asked if the elders could pray for Gracie. Before we knew it, the library was absolutely packed with people. There must have been 20 people who showed up to pray for our little Gracie. Our pastor asked this group if they would be willing to pray for this to the end. Pray until Gracie was healed. The prayers that came from that group of people were amazing and full of faith. We were blown away!
Gracie has been well now for 8 days and we are praying that she will never throw up again. We are not sure what God has planned, but are very hopeful.

It's too fun that the child held by Jesus at 2:10 on the video looks so much like sweet Gracie!
All glory to God for His mercy.
