This morning Gracie started whispering to me. I could barely hear her, but I was so encouraged. She has not said anything at all since we got her two days ago, so this is progress. Also the sad lip is going away. As I type this she is sitting on the floor playing with a little butterfly that a friend gave us and the whisper is turning into a very quiet babble. Oh, it's amazing how something so small can mean so much.

Congratulations on the addition of your beautiful daughter! Penny sent us the pictures and the link to the blog so we are all up to date on your journey to get her! We are so excited with you. Having adopted our little Madilyn almost six years ago now, we know the excitement and joy that you are experiencing, although we didn't have to go to China to get her, just North Carolina!
